Russian Ballet Coming to UNLV

The art of Russia's famous ballets is coming to UNLV in February.

The Moscow Festival Ballet will be performing at the UNLV Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1. It is part of the Charles Vanda Master Series.

The company will perform the classic "Cinderella." The Moscow Festival Ballet was created in 1989 by a principal dancer from the legendary Bolshoi Ballet. Sergei Radchenko wanted to focus on the classic elements from the Bolshoi and the Kirov Ballets.

Tickets range in price from $25 to $75 and can be purchased at the center's box office or online at pac.unlv.edu. There are discounted tickets available for students, faculty and staff.
