Hospice Collects Bedding for Animals in Need

The Nathan Adelson Hospice is collecting beds and blankets for animals this holiday season.

The hospice is taking in the bedding from now until January 31. The blankets and beds will then be donated to the Lied Animal Shelter, the Dewey Animal Shelter and the Noah’s Ark Shade Tree Animal Shelter.

They are accepting new and gently used blankets, towels and dog beds. Donations can be dropped off at all four of the Adelson Hospice locations.

  • 4141 Swenson Street
  • 3391 N. Buffalo Road
  • 1401 S. Highway 160, Suite B, Pahrump
  • 1201 Nevada State Drive, Henderson

The drive is an extension of the Bonnie Schreck Memorial Complementary Therapies Program at the hospice. The program uses several different kinds of therapies to ease discomfort, including pet therapies. The team of pets and their owners at the program are heading up the collection efforts.
