Del Sol High School Earns Concert with Anti-Bullying Effort

The students of Del Sol High School received a surprise Wednesday when they learned they had earned a exclusive live concert.

The students earned the concert because of their efforts to stop bullying. The school submitted its plan to combat bullying as part of a Flip the Script campaign contest. The winning school will get a concert courtesy of the radio station 98.5 KLUC.

The winning campaign had to not only show how they would end bullying but outline how all the students in the school would get involved.

"We are excited to be named Flip the Script contest winners. We have done a lot of work with it, even before the challenge was presented. We are really excited and look forward to working with Flip the Script more," Erin Cranor, a senior at Del Sol High School, said.

Besides a video featuring personal stories from students, they also developed a program that let students express themselves more freely without feeling like they would be ridiculed.
