A domestic dispute lead to a shooting Friday that left one man hurt, Metro Police said.
According to police, officers were called to a home near Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. They found a man standing outside the house with a gunshot wound to his head. Despite the wound, the man was not seriously hurt.
Police say the victim, identified as David Eckman, got into a fight with the suspect, Steven Kesler, because his wife was dating Kesler.
Kesler and Eckman’s wife, Karen Eckman, were inside the house early Friday morning, when they say David Eckman made harassing phone calls and pounded on the doors, telling them to come out.
Police say that eventually Kesler got his gun, went outside and confronted Eckman. During the argument, the fight became physical with Kesler hitting Eckman, police said.
At one point, Kesler shot Eckman in the head and bullet grazed the left side of his scalp.
