Metro Police are investigating a late night shooting near Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue.

One man was wounded in an east valley shooting late Thursday night, according to Las Vegas police.

Police still looking for man who robs people in parking lots

Metro Police are still looking for a man responsible for several robberies in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road between April and May.

According to police, the man targets people in parking lots. He demands money and is armed with a small frame handgun.

The man is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s. He is 5 foot 9. He speaks both English and Spanish.

Police looking for man who robbed business

Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a business near Maryland Parkway and Tropicana Avenue.

According to police, the man walked into the business on Aug. 1. He had a handgun and demanded money. He then left the business.

He is described as a black man in his 30s. He is between 6 foot and 6 foot 3 and 200 and 230 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white baseball cap with a black logo, a black doorag, dark mask covering the lower part of his face, olive green long sleeve thermal shirt, black and white gloves, gray sweatpants and gray shoes. He was carrying an orange bag with black pull strings.

Man arrested for attempted murder after domestic dispute

A domestic dispute lead to a shooting Friday that left one man hurt, Metro Police said.

According to police, officers were called to a home near Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.  They found a man standing outside the house with a gunshot wound to his head. Despite the wound, the man was not seriously hurt.

Police say the victim, identified as David Eckman, got into a fight with the suspect, Steven Kesler, because his wife was dating Kesler.

Kesler and Eckman’s wife, Karen Eckman, were inside the house early Friday morning, when they say David Eckman made harassing phone calls and pounded on the doors, telling them to come out.

Police say that eventually Kesler got his gun, went outside and confronted Eckman. During the argument, the fight became physical with Kesler hitting Eckman, police said.

At one point, Kesler shot Eckman in the head and bullet grazed the left side of his scalp.

Metro Police are looking for a man in connection with a series of robberies in the area of Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road.

According to police, the robberies all happened between April and May. The man targeted people in parking lot. Police say he uses a gun to get money from people.

The man is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s. He is 5 foot 9, and he speaks both English and Spanish.

Metro Police are looking for a man who robbed a business near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road.

According to police, on April 29, the man walked into the business and demanded money. The employees gave him money, and he left.

The man is described as a black man between 38 and 45 years old. He is 6 foot 10 and 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. During the robbery, he was wearing a gray fisherman's hat with a white band, gray jacket with a dark hood, dark pants and black shoes with white soles.

Police looking for man involved in violent carjacking

Metro Police are looking for a man who hit a woman and stole her car.

According to police, the crime happened March 19 near Boulder Highway and Flamingo Road. Police say the man approached the woman in a parking lot, knocked her down and stole the keys to her 2003 green Hyundai Accent.

The man police are looking for is described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, 6 foot and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black T-shirt and blue jeans.
