JFK Assassination Focus of Evening with Expert

To mark the 48th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Clark County Library on East Flamingo will be holding an evening with an expert in the assassination.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday and features John Barbour, who has produced and directed a film based on an interview with District Attorney of New Orleans Jim Garrison. Garrison tried a Louisiana businessman in connection with President Kennedy’s death. The jury acquitted the man.

Barbour has also researched the topic extensively. 8 News NOW chief I-Team investigator George Knapp will introduce Barbour. Barbour’s film will be screened followed by a question and answer period.

The evening is free and open to the public.
