Local Mall Hosts UNLV Day Sunday

Looking to promote more than just its athletics department in the local community, UNLV will host an event at The Galleria at Sunset this weekend.

The mall will host UNLV Day from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The university will have information and displays available from many of its departments – from admissions to alumni to athletics – for interested students, parents, community partners and athletic fans. There will also be activities for kids introducing them to UNLV and higher education.

“UNLV is a vital partner in our community and it’s important that we let people know of the opportunities that we offer,” said UNLV President Neal Smatresk. “This will be a great way to find out more about becoming a Rebel and for those who are to celebrate with us.”
