Coroner Identifies Drivers Killed in Thursday Collision

LAS VEGAS -- The drivers killed in a collision Thursday morning near UNLV have been identified as David Anthony Mann and T.J. Meyers, both of Las Vegas.

The Clark County Coroner's Office identified Meyers, 58, and Mann, 26, but has not yet listed an official cause of death for either.

The accident was reported around 9:20 a.m. Thursday. The accident involved three vehicles. Police say a 2007 Hummer driven by Meyers was speeding eastbound on Flamingo, when it ran a red light and struck a 2010 Toyota Corolla driven by Mann in the intersection. The Hummer then collided with a Chevy van and rolled.

Meyers was ejected and died at the scene. Mann was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he died a short time later. The occupants of the van suffered minor injuries.
