News

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Police are seeking public help to find a gunman who robbed a cashier at the Silver Sevens Casino & Hotel a few blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip.

Las Vegas police released a statement and surveillance video images Tuesday showing a man wearing a backward gray baseball cap and light-colored button-down shirt carrying a portfolio-style satchel as he approaches a cashier cage about 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the man presented a note, demanded money and threatened to shoot the cashier before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as black, in his 40s, about 5-foot-8 and 200 pounds with some gray in his beard.

The Silver Sevens is near Paradise and Flamingo roads. It used to be called Terrible's Casino.
