LAS VEGAS -- Metro Police are looking for two suspects in a fatal Monday afternoon shooting near E. Twain Avenue and Swenson Street, just east of the Las Vegas Strip.

The shooting happened in the 600 block of Royal Crest Circle around 2:14 p.m in an apartment complex parking lot.

Metro Police responded to the scene after getting a report of shots fired in the area and did find a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim had been in a car when he was shot. There were three passengers in his vehicle, police said. Two of them fled and are considered suspects in the shooting.

"We move slow, methodical and calculated. Our goal here is to find the truth and the facts that lead us to who's responsible for doing this and why," said Lt. Ray Steiber, Metro Police.

The shooting victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The third passenger was questioned by police.
