This weekend will mark the opening of Clark County pools and water parks for the summer season.

County Commissioner Susan Brager will officially open the pools to everyone at noon Saturday. That ceremony will take place at Desert Breeze Water Park, 8275 W. Spring Mountain Road.

The Desert Breeze Water Park is just one of six pools in southern Nevada that will be opening this weekend. All the pools listed below will be open from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

  • Hollywood Water Park, 1550 S. Hollywood Blvd.
  • Cambridge Water Park, 3930 Cambridge St.
  • Paradise Water Park, 4770 Harrison Dr.
  • Parkdale Water Park, 3200 Ferndale St.
  • Walnut Water Park, 3085 Cecile Ave.

Water park fees are $2 for kids 3 to 17 years old, $3 for adults 18 to 49 and $1 for seniors. Children under 3 can swim for free. Pool fees are $1 for kids 3 to 17 years old and for seniors. Adults 18 to 49 can swim for $2. Children under 3 years old can go for free.
