Students celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Month |

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Nevada Rise Academy students were celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Month Friday at their annual Hawaiian festival.

Executive Director Justin Brecht said the charter school has a diverse student population and they hold many festivals during the school year to celebrate different cultures and to bring the community together.
